JYPark Comeback - Live @ Korea Film Award

I can’t help but I must put this video at my blog instead of Dancelove . This is JYP’s live @ 20071201 Korea Film Award LIVE today/yesterday. He performed a special melody and his comeback new songs from his Seventh album! Yea, he is really a  dancing gorilla , unique dancing style. But I do enjoy this JYPark’s performance. It’s fun to watch to him and the audience…LOL, he is entertaining and he dances really hard. No surprise that he rules the stage because he is the very top artist/singer in Korea of the “last generation” plus producers of super stars like Rain and Park Ji Yoon.

JYPark’s live shows me one more thing: that’s the reason why nearly all Korean pop singers, excecpt ballad, indie and rock bands, need to dance, know how to dance and must dance for their live show. It’s a CULTURE/Tradition and value. Top producer and respectful pop singer, like JYPark also regards dance training as important as vocal training for an artist in the entertainment industry, so do the new groups and rising idols.
(P.S. Wow, I can see FaaYoung as background dancer for JYPark; who is she? She is the main female dancer for Rain, also do solo dance with Rain ^_^ *Happy*)

Oh, finally, Sabra won the competition. Congratulation! I like what Nigel & Sabra said in the backstage interivew (videos are at the very bottom of this post). You can also see a post with all the dancers’ interviews @ DanceLove .

Nigel: “…But Sabra winning because of she has only 4 years (trainings) so inspirational for America and it said to America. Look! you don’t have to start dancing at 3 or 4 years of age. You start now, you even considering start dancing, begin dancing, does it make an impact on your life.”

Sabra: “…Don’t give up, you never know what’s gonna be happened…you have believe in yourself. …because when you believe in yourself, people will believe in you!”

You know “So You Think You can Dance” is tremendously successful, it is not only because they have great dancers and great choreographers, but the whole production team behind, the design of the show including program rundown, lighting, video-shooting, and the theme/vision of the show. To search for America’s favourite dancers in our daily life! And as audience, you can participate to vote and make people’s dream comes true. The contestants are professionals now, but they are stones on the surface around us and waiting to become diamonds when they have a chance to grow.

I really respect Nigel Lythgoe . He is a great producer of these popular show like So You Think You can Dance  and  American Idol. In our daily life, there are talents around us, or you may be one of them.  If you are given a chance/an opportunity, you can be the star! That’s dream and if you believe in your dream and you, don’t give up, work hard and you will have your way and you will succeed when you pursue your dream.

I don’t know why. Is it Hong Kong’s culture and mindset or the production team in our entertainment industry is in a rather conservative mindset and close system? Hong Kong TV copied the American Idol, but they just copied the worst examples - William Hung . So, we only have those “Ding”(叮) tv program. You know, in fact, those contestants in American Idol are phenomenal. For example Fantasia (season3 winner) and Jordin Sparks(Season 7 winner), winners of the show are very talented. See Jordin’s performance video below.

讓我來介紹一下 Cory Lee，我一向很喜歡 Sexy和 talented 的 R&B 女歌手，尤其是會跳舞的。記著看最下的 MTV - “Overload”  (My favorite ^_^)。

Cory Lee 是加拿大女R&B歌手，中德混血兒，8 歲開始學唱歌，15歲時，Hong Kong Sony 邀請她加盟新女子組合 Ris-K (P.S. 不過我沒有聽過有這女子組合)，Cory 拒絕了。卻加入一隊叫 NRG的組合。因為 SARS ，Cory 返回加拿大發展，在 2006年推出她的第一張專輯，由 club 興起後，加拿大電台很快便播出她的第一隻 Single: “The Naughty Song” 。最新推出的 Sinful Innocence 是她的第二張個人大碟。

Cory Lee is a hot multi-threat actress, singer, songwriter, dancer and model. Born and raised in Vancouver B.C., Cory took singing classes at the age 8. At age 15, Cory turned down an offer from Sony Hong Kong to join an all-girls group called Ris-K. Eager to explore her Chinese roots and to see the world, in 2002, Cory joined another group called NRG performing in Hong Kong. Things went well until the unfortunate SARS outbreak hit Asia and Cory returned Cananda to focus on a solo career. In 2006, her music caught fire in the clubs across Canada, and radio soon followed with her first single “The Naughty Song” (from her debut album What A Difference A Day Makes). The newly released Sinful Innocence is her second album.

Dirty Dancing gets Rereleased in Movie Theaters For 20th Anniversary

Dirty Dancing 原來已經 20 週年了，這是跳舞電影的經典。這是 1987 年的電影，在 HMV 買回來的 DVD，到現在仍是百看不厭。可惜未能在大銀幕回味這些經典的電影! 真的很懷念舊時! 我真的老了! LOL!

What about the story? Dirty Dancing is the story of a naïve girl who meets an experienced dance instructor and becomes his pupil in dance and love. It’s an Oscar®-winning film. OK, Hong Kong  is not going to show it in threatre anyway. Luckily, I have already bought a DVD copy from HMV long time ago. But I always want to watch these classics at the big screen in the cinema. Really miss the old days! Am I that old ? LOL!
